
Fire crews Friday morning responded to the scene of a gas line break in Daly City.
The leak occurred in the 100 block of Santa Cruz Avenue, authorities said.

PG&E said a third party that dug into the half-inch service line caused it to rupture.
"The issue was resolved quickly and safely, and all repairs have been completed," PG&E said in an email to NBC Bay Area.
Customers should call 811 before any digging project, large or small, to avoid these type of digging accidents, PG&E said.
